Fiorella Floral Design

Fiorella Floral , is a small, home based floral studio, focusing on weddings and events with a natural garden style approach to design. My name is Julie Settanni, I am the owner and lead designer.
What motivated you?
I fell in love with floral design after my own wedding in 2015. I took a few workshops, and then reached out to my wedding florist, who encouraged me to work freelance for her. She taught me so much and gave me the confidence to start Fiorella Floral Design. It has been so refreshing to pursue this creative passion.
Favourite project so far?
It is so hard to choose! We recently did our largest wedding yet in May. It was stunning to see all of the elements come together with the florals! It really makes me feel proud to see how happy a bride is after all of the long hours and hard work we put into the design.

Christina’s Custom Creations

Christina’s Custom Creations is run out of my home selling custom signs, vinyl mugs, tumblers, and now welcome mats. I started out just making designs for myself, then I had tonnes of people requesting for me to make them custom items and now also sell locally in 3 stores in Southern Ontario.
What motivated you?
I received my vinyl cutting machine as a birthday from my mom and my sister. My motivation came from seeing all the amazing things I could make and all of the positive feedback I received from my creations.
Favourite project so far?
My favourite project so far has got to be my new welcome mats! These are something I started to do after a local business approached me and asked me to create. One day after posting a picture I had over 20 orders!

The Blonde Orphan

The Blonde Orphan is a graphic design business. I create everything from wedding stationary (invitations, seating charts, table numbers, favour tags) to home décor prints, to Snapchat Geofilters and everything in between since 2015.
What motivated you?
I have always had a creative side to me. What motivated me was the desire to share my designs with others. I am a self taught graphic designer so I really enjoy constantly learning new techniques.
Favourite project so far?
I have many, but for myself I created a quote I have displayed on my gallery wall at home. “A dog will teach you unconditional love. If you can have that in your life, things won’t be too bad.” I also loved creating a Halloween birthday poster for my newphew’s 1st birthday because I am obsessed with Halloween ūüôā
